                                             Revd James Patterson - Minister

James is originally from Guisborough in North Yorkshire. He initially studied car design at Northumbria University before becoming a self-employed graphic designer for ten years.

James has always gone to church from a young age, growing up in Guisborough Methodist Church where he served as a Church Steward and becoming accredited as a local preacher in 2018. He answered the call to ordained ministry in 2018, entering ministerial training in 2019 at the Queen’s Foundation in Birmingham where he has been studying for the last three years. It was there he met his partner Angela, who is a Church of England curate in London.

James is passionate about sharing the love of God in the world, and encouraging people in their relationships to God in Christ Jesus, enabling reawakening of their passion for God.

James enjoys walking, baking (mainly because of his sweet tooth), and loves cars, especially classic cars - particularly Ford Anglias!
